Field Day Report

General News

2017 Field Day has come and gone and the attendance was up from previous years. A big thanks to Frank "Rick" Dux, WB4LZW, and Larry Heinz, W2FTV for again doing a superb job chairing this event.

Weather was hot and humid for most of the event with a short thunderstorm in the evening.

Hamburgers & Hot Dogs were served for lunch and the evening meal was Chicken Bog prepared by one of Edward Jordan, KF4ECK friends, Ivalee "Peanuts" Williams. I can attest that it was very good as most people had seconds and some even visited the pot three times.

Our PIO Gordon Mooneyhan, W4EGM has provided some pictures from the event and to view them follow this LINK

If anyone has more details they would like to contribute to this report, i.e. number of attendees, etc. please email me n4xml@w4gs.org
